Who we are

Sheer Financial is a product of Sheer Data, LLC. We provide AI-powered financial intelligence tools for finance teams and banks.

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, role, and any message you provide. When you use the product, we receive only structured, classified financial data that you explicitly choose to send — never raw accounting files.

Local-first architecture

Sheer Financial is designed to process your financial data locally in your browser (via WebAssembly) or on your desktop (via our agent). Raw GL data is parsed, classified, and analyzed on your machine. Only structured results are transmitted to our servers when you opt in.

How we use your data

We use contact information to respond to your inquiries and provide product updates. Structured financial data is used solely to deliver the analysis and reports you request.

Third parties

We use Anthropic Claude for AI-powered analysis (account classification, variance narratives). Only structured, anonymized financial data is sent to Anthropic's API. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Server-side data is stored in Google Cloud Platform with encryption at rest. Access is restricted via role-based access controls.
